Terms of service.

Plain-English version. Anything that sounds vague here is not a trick — write to us at hello@parenta.app and we'll explain.

Who we are.

"Parenta," "we," "us" — Parenta AI Ltd. "You" — the person using the product. "Parenta," lowercase italics, when referring to the AI itself.

What you're agreeing to.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree to either, please don't use the product.

What Parenta is — and is not.

Parenta is an AI-powered parenting support product. It is not a clinical service, not a diagnostic tool, not a substitute for a therapist, paediatrician, OT, SLT, psychiatrist, or other licensed professional. See our safety page for the full statement.

You agree not to rely on Parenta for medical, psychiatric, legal, or emergency decisions. If something is urgent, please contact a human professional or your local emergency service.

Your account.

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password and devices secure.
  • You can delete your account at any time. We'll delete your data within 30 days.

What you can put in.

You agree not to use Parenta to harass anyone, to attempt to extract clinical decisions it isn't equipped to make, to test or attack the service, or to do anything illegal where you live.

Who owns what.

  • You own everything you put in: your conversations, your child's profile, your photos, your voice notes.
  • We own the product itself: the code, the design, the brand.
  • By using Parenta, you give us a narrow licence to process your content for the sole purpose of giving you replies and running the product. We don't use it to train models.

Subscriptions and money.

  • If you're on a free tier, the limits are listed in the app.
  • If you're on a paid plan, billing renews automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time from your account settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • We don't issue refunds by default, but if something has gone genuinely wrong, write to billing@parenta.app and we'll do the right thing. billing@parenta.app

Liability — the boring necessary part.

Parenta is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the previous 12 months. None of this limits any liability that cannot legally be limited (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by our negligence in the UK).

Changes.

If we change these terms in a way that affects you materially, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Where we are and which law applies.

Parenta AI Ltd. is registered in England & Wales. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of England & Wales — except where you're a consumer in a country whose law gives you a different right, in which case that right applies.
